In the company of witches
I chose this book to make a special edition cover. I created this example in 2-3 hours. I focused on the front/back and spine. The result is still really rough, but you can see my direction.

I decided to go for a heavy, symmetric style. Inspired by Tarot cards, it’s a very graphic and impactful style that quickly links with Witches. I also wanted a nostalgia for good old books that bring a cozy vibe.
Each of the tea cups represents the three main characters, plus you (the reader). Invited to spend time in their B&B and on their adventures. This book is about feeling cozy and adventurous. One of the aunts is into plants, and the other is into tea and cakes. These are elements I played with. The main character deals with the grief of her loved one, which is why I added bi-colored hearts.
